The Yarn Studio opened in November 2002.  Owner, Kathy Morrow, has been knitting and needlepointing for over 40 years.  Like most store owners, it started as a hobby and bloomed into a business. 

As a self-confessed needlearts "addict" Kathy loves the unique and unusual yarns and needlepoint canvases.  If it's possible to wrap it around a knitting needle, pull it through with a crochet hook or thread it through a stitching needle...Kathy probably has it!! 

Kathy is a member of TNNA (The National Needlearts Association).  She attends and teaches at the two largest buying shows sponsored by TNNA.  She has her ear on the heartbeat of knitting and needlepoint and knows what's hot and what's not!!  Also, she keeps a keen eye out for "local goodies"!

Kathy invites everyone to come into The Yarn Studio for an uplifting and creative experience.  The staff is extremely knowledgable, helpful and fun!!  You'll leave The Yarn studio with a smile on your face and a wonderful reminder of your trip to the Rocky Mountains!
